Missing or damaged high-value items hit in a break
- If a user purchases a break spot and subsequently does not receive their item(s) due to loss or damage in transit, Whatnot will cover the full cost to replace the missing or damaged item(s) at their market price, regardless of the amount paid on Whatnot. Reimbursement and market price are at the full discretion of the Whatnot Trust & Safety team
- Sellers must ship all items from a purchase and remember to package carefully and request an insured label for any sale where the market value of the products being shipped is greater than $1,000
- As long as sellers add insurance to their shipments, they would not be financially responsible if the entire package is lost or damaged in transit
Any violation of this policy by a buyer or seller may be subject to a platform-wide ban.
