All sales on Whatnot are final. This policy is in place to maintain marketplace integrity between buyers and sellers. Once you place a bid on an item on Whatnot, you are fully committing to the purchase.
Buyers can request to cancel the order any time before the seller confirms shipment. Sellers have the ability to confirm or deny requests. If denied, the sale is final. If the seller does not respond to a cancelation request in 48 hours, the sale will proceed as normal.
Shipped items cannot be canceled. If there is no update to the tracking information within 12 days, the buyer can then request cancellation.
Buyers who repeatedly request cancellations for any reason will be subject to corrective action in accordance with our Enforcement Matrix.
Exceptions for final sale include:
- The only exception is an error in the bidding process. The buyer must report within 2 hours of the error in order for the cancellation to be considered. More information can be found here.
